HYDERABAD: Telangana State Police Integrated Command and Control Centre (TSPICCC), a nerve centre for operations and disaster management, is all set for the inauguration by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on August 4, 2022.

This 83.5-metre-tall green building features a 480-seat auditorium, a media center, training facilities, and conference halls spread across 6.42 lakh square feet, including parking on 2.16 lakh square feet, solar panels, STP, and a glass facade, to name a few modern amenities.

The Hyderabad Police Commissionerate is housed in Tower A, a 20-story building, and Tower B is a technology fusion centre designed to gather data from various apps, emergency response systems like Dial 100, social media, and highways watch from all over the state to foster a collaborative approach.

In order to respond uniformly to any emergencies or disasters, there is a multi-agency integrated command control centre located on Tower E's fourth, fifth, and sixth floors.

The tower houses separate chambers for Telangana DGP M. Mahendar Reddy, Home Minister Mahmood Ali, and other officials. There is also a war room on the seventh floor where meetings can be held to tackle emergencies.

Before its inauguration at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner CV Anand and other top officials visited and inspected the Integrated Police Command & Control Centre on Wednesday.

CV Anand told media on Wednesday at the CCC, "After the flag is unveiled at 1 pm on Thursday, the Chief Minister will officially inaugurate the CCC and the Hyderabad commissionerate office." This structure is made up of five towers. Tower A houses the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate, while Tower B is a technology fusion centre. On the fourth, fifth, and sixth floors of Tower E, there is a multi-agency integrated command control center."

He went on to say that CCC is the brainchild of Telangana Chief Minister KCR, who is solely responsible for its creation. Following the formation of Telangana state, he prioritised safety and security. We were encouraged to use technology, and they created this incredible design. "

Senior police officials believe that the existing police commissioner's office in Basheerbagh will be vacated. According to reports, the Hyderabad traffic commissioner and other traffic cops will continue to work from the police control room.

A V Ranganath Joint Commissioner Traffic told Newstap, "The traffic component would also be housed on the fifth floor of the Command Control Centre." The CCC would also house our E-challan division and technical teams. I'll have a personal chamber on the fifth floor where I can sit whenever I visit. However, I will continue to work from my current office in the Police Control Room building."

The Telangana State Police Integrated Command and Control Centre will soon be open to the public so that they can observe police operations, museums, and panoramic views.
