HYDERABAD: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that he was praying for speedy recovery of Telangana former Chief Minister and BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), who had suffered a hip injury at his Erravalli farmhouse.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Narendra Modi said, “Distressed to know that former Telangana CM Shri KCR Garu has suffered an injury. I pray for his speedy recovery and good health.”

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on his X account wrote that he had inquired about the health condition of former Chief Minister KCR. “The Health Secretary was asked to visit the hospital and ensure that he gets better medical services and report the situation from time to time. I wish KCR a speedy recovery,” Revanth Reddy said.

BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) posted an update on X, stating that “Sri KCR garu needs to undergo a hip replacement surgery today after he had a fall in his bathroom. Thanks to all those who have been sending messages for his speedy recovery.”

TDP president N Chandrababu took to X and posted "Concerned to learn that KCR Garu has sustained an injury. I pray for his complete and swift recovery."
