HYDERABAD: Hindupur MLA and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna has said that the Telugu Desam Party will fight the cases against its president N Chandrababu Naidu in the court of law.

Addressing the Telangana TDP cadre at NTR Trust Bhavan on the arrest of Naidu, he expressed his support to Naidu and the party, stating that the it would fight the false allegations in court.

In an oblique reference to BRS leaders, without naming them individually or taking the name of the party, Balakrishna criticized those expressing sympathy for Naidu, suggesting that many were doing so for political gains rather than genuine concern.

Balakrishna noted that some people condemned Chandrababu's arrest on the grounds of his age (73 years) and labeled it "injustice." However, he emphasized that very few questioned the lack of evidence and the absence of fraud in the case.

Regarding allegations of the central government's involvement in Chandrababu Naidu's arrest, Balayya stated that he did not want to make such allegations without a complete understanding of the situation. He also praised Pawan Kalyan for his support to Chandrababu Naidu and his prompt condemnation of the arrest.

When asked about the film industry's silence, Balakrishna indicated that he didn't care about their response, considering it a political issue. Regarding Jr NTR's silence on Chandrababu Naidu's arrest, Balakrishna stated, "I don't care! Bro.. I don't care. That is my next picture and not just cinema, cinema ne kaadu, bayata kuda," suggesting that he was not concerned if NTR responded or not.
