HYDERABAD: The Udaipur murder conspiracy suspect, who was detained by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), on Monday, from Santosh Nagar, Hyderabad, was let off by the sleuths on Tuesday.

He was let off after being served a notice to appear before the Superintendent Police of NIA on July 14 in Jaipur.

The suspect, Mohammed Munawar Hussain Asrafi, 36, who hailed from Bagalpur, Bihar, was picked up as his name was found in the call list of one of the main accused.

The NIA, which is entrusted with the probe, has arrested five suspects so far. The Hyderabad connection suddenly caused a flutter.

It may be recalled that a tailor Kanhaiya Lal was murdered in Udaipur of Rajasthan on June 28.
