HYDERABAD: YSR Congress Party General Secretary and MP V I Vijaya Sai Reddy has said that two resolutions will be discussed in the party's plenary that is to be held on July 8 and July 9.

The party's honorary president Y S Vijayamma, mother of Cheif Minister and party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, will participate in the plenary.

He said that the first discussion would be on the Disha Act, a resolution for empowering women.

Later, they would discuss the financial help to be given to various beneficiaries. They would also be discussing the education sector, health sector and administrative transparency.

As part of the two-day plenary, sessions would start at 8 am on July 8. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy would hoist a flag followed by an announcement regarding the party's next president. The plenary would also have cultural programs.

Women leaders Ushasree Charan, Roja, Potula Sunitha, Lakshmiparvathi, Jakkampudi and Vijaya Lakshmi would speak about the Disha Act.

Leaders Botsa Satyanarayana, Adimulapu Suresh, Kilari Roshaiah, Sudhakar Babu and Nagarjuna Yadav would speak about the education sector.

Ministers Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy and other leaders would address the finance issues.

Vidudala Rajini, Seediri Appalaraju, Anil Kumar Yadav, and Alla Nani would discuss the resolution introduced on medicine.

MP Vijayasai Reddy said that the plenary was a matter of pride for the YSRCP. "We have given priority to all communities towards social justice; there is no doubt that the plenary will be a success, which is estimated that 1.50 lakh people will come on Friday and 4 lakh people on the second day," he said.

He also said that there were no special invitees and clarified that Honorary President and Party Presidents Y S Vijayamma, would be present. He said that the president of the party would announce a new policy regarding party committees. "We will strengthen the party and prepare for the upcoming elections," said Vijayasai Reddy.

The Rajya Sabha member said that during the tenure Rs.1.40 lakh crores went directly to the people through Direct Benefit Transfer. "We will discuss topics like education, medicine, and women empowerment at the plenary," Vijayasai said, adding that only the party workers and representatives would attend the plenary.

The YSRCP plenary arrangements have been completed at the place opposite Acharya Nagarjuna University in the Guntur district. Ministers, MLAs, and other leaders had been entrusted with various responsibilities of the plenary's arrangements. As it is the first plenary after Jagan became the Chief Minister, leaders had prepared to organise it with vigour.
