6-km-long traffic jam on PVNR Expressway

HYDERABAD: Following a heavy rain on Friday evening, traffic came to a halt on important roads in the city.

As construction works were going on in Shamshabad-Mehdipatnam section near some flyovers, traffic slowed down. Vehicles came to a halt on the arterial PVNR Expressway for a distance of 6.5. km in the direction towards Mehdipatnam.

However, the reasons for the jam are not known immediately.
