Allu Arjun inaugurates convention centre of his father-in-law, BRS leader in Nalgonda

NALGONDA: Icon Star Allu Arjun created a flutter in Battugudem village of Peddavoora Mandal in Nalgonda district on Saturday. He was there to inaugurate Kancharla convention centre, built by his father-in-law and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Kancharla Chandrashekar Reddy.

“My father-in-law has built his convention hall for the good of all in the vicinity. I am indebted to the love of my fans and the love and affection showered on me by the supporters of my father-in-law, thank you fans thanks a lot,” Allu Arjun said in his brief speech

Allu Arjun’s visit also stirred political heat as Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy who was active in the ruling BRS party activities had made elaborate arrangements for the inaugural apparently keeping the ensuing elections in the State. He invited State Power Minister G Jagdish Reddy and also arranged a saree distribution programme and lunch for the invitees.

Local BRS leaders exuded confidence that Arjun would not refuse if he was invited to campaign for BRS at least for the sake of his father-in-law.

The star who had a considerable following in the Telangana districts, instantly connected with the local people who waited for him at the convention centre and also on the streets of Battugudem. The actor’s mother-in-law Kavitha Reddy and father-in-law Chandrashekar Reddy received him at the convention centre. He then cut the ribbon marking the inaugural of the convention centre.

Allu Arjun was married to Sneha Reddy, daughter of Chandrashekar Reddy who was a businessman and the Chairman of the Scient Institute of Technology (SIT).
