Cameras worth Rs 8 lakh stolen from photo studio in Ramanthapur

HYDERABAD: Anonymous miscreants stole cameras and lenses worth about Rs 8 lakhs from Shree Manasa Photo Studio in Ramanthapur of Hyderabad.

Photo studio owner Ramakrishna, after conducting a Diwali puja ceremony at the shop on Monday, locked the store and went home. On Tuesday, when he returned to the store, he found the shop's shutter opened and cameras and lenses missing. He immediately informed the police about the incident.

Speaking to media, Ramakrishna urged the public to report the incident to police if someone came to sell cameras or lenses. He said that his business was recently getting back on track after COVID and this incident shattered him.

The police registered a case and were investigating the incident.
