Close shave for women as car rams into divider after tyre burst in Jubilee Hills

HYDERABAD: A few women had a close shave when their car rammed into a road divider following a tyre burst near Jubilee Hills Check Post in the early hours of Sunday. Fortunately, no one was injured in the mishap even as the vehicle suffered some damage.
The incident took place on Road No. 65 when the women were returning from Filmnagar. Earlier reports claimed that the accident was caused due to driving under the influence of alcohol. But according to the Inspector of Jubilee Hills Traffic Police, the car crashed into the road divider as a result of one of its tyres exploding. The driver of the vehicle obviously lost control of the vehicle, leading to the accident.
The police official also clarified that there were women inside the car and the person driving the vehicle did not consume alcohol. Stating that no one was injured, the Inspector informed that no case was registered in connection with the incident. The ill-fated vehicle was removed from the accident spot with the help of a crane, the police official added.
