Colourful fireworks light up City’s necklace - bund around Hussain Sagar

HYDERABAD: Skies above the placid waters of Hussain Sagar lake glittered with multi-hued fireworks marking the celebration of the inauguration of ‘pride of Telangana’ - Dr B R Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat - on Sunday evening.

The overcast dark sky was resplendent with the fireworks lighting up hearts of people around.

In fact, KCR has restored the past glory of Tank Bund and decked it up with many unique structures and properties.

Marking the occasion of the inauguration of the new Telangana secretariat on Sunday amidst fervour, the fireworks event organised under the auspices of Roads and Buildings Minister Prashanth Reddy at Dr. BR Ambedkar Telangana secretariat in the evening grabbed all the attention of the public.

The videos and photos of the lightning effect have gone viral on social media.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Prashanth Reddy thanked the officials of the Roads and Buildings Department, GHMC, HMDA, Electricity, Police Department, Tourism Department, and all other government departments for making the inaugural event of the new secretariat a successful one.

He said that there was a massive turn out at the event with around 10,000 invitees attending the event.

Reddy further stated that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao made a mark in history by constructing the new secretariat and said that KCR was the only leader in the country who could make the wonders like building the Kaleswaram project, 125-foot Ambedkar statue, Dr. BR Ambedkar Secretariat.

Taking a jibe at the opposition saying that they always failed to see the Chief Minister's credibility and make false allegations. He said the opposition leaders who made fun of KCR would always bite the dust.
