HYDERABAD: An autorickshaw driver, who was upset due to loss of income due to the implementation of the Mahalakshmi free bus travel for women scheme by the Government, set his vehicle on fire outside Praja Bhavan.

Deva (45), hailing from Mahbubnagar, was deeply frustrated that he was unable to clear his loan for his vehicle due to the Government's decision to implement the scheme.

Deva consumed alcohol before arriving at Praja Bhavan on Thursday and set his autorickshaw on fire. The incident created a stir at Praja Bhavan. Deva was apprehended by the police and was being questioned for his act.
