HYDERABAD: A heartrending visual of a Hyderabad woman who went to the USA to study at the TRINE University in Chicago, Illinois, and was found homeless and starving on the streets of Chicago city by a fellow Indian.
In fact, the studious Syed Lulu Minhaj enrolled in the said university in 2021 but suddenly became incommunicado for the past two months. She requested the Union Government to help bring her daughter back to Hyderabad with the help of Indian Consulate in Chicago.

The letter written by her mother to the Union Minister was shared on Twitter by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Khaleequr Rahaman. In her letter, Syeda Wahaj Fatima a resident of Moulaali in Hyderabad explained the ordeal faced by her daughter and said that her daughter went to the US to pursue higher studies in August 2021 and was always in touch with her.
