HYDERABAD: From the moment the news broke out that Medak MP and Dubbaka BRS candidate Kotha Prabhakar Reddy was stabbed while he was campaigning in Surampally of Siddipet district, State Finance and Health Minister T Harish didn’t take a break even for a second.

While the Siddipet MLA who was a long-time friend of Kotha Prabhakar Reddy was in tears speaking to media after he heard about the incident, called the MP and gave him confidence that everything will be alright. But as the car in which the MP sat on the front seat next to the driver, holding his wound from bleeding, Harish rushed to Gajwel hospital.

While giving details of the movement of the wounded MP to the BRS party headquarters and the media the Minister kept the doctors at the Yashoda hospital in Hyderabad ready. As the MP was continuously losing blood Harish Rao took the decision to shift him to Yashoda Hospital so that a life-saving surgery could be performed.

However, Harish had to run to catch up with the ambulance that reached the hospital a few moments ahead of him, the minister wasted not even a single minute and ran. He ran without caring about the security who tried to stop him and a whole battery of media that were trying to get a glimpse of the wounded MP.

At the hospital too, Harish comforted the injured MP and gave him confidence that the surgeons would take care of the wound and he would return home safely.
