ANNAMAYYA: Pileru in Annamayya district of Andhra Pradesh, is witnessing a rare weather phenomenon these days. The sleepy town is being enveloped by a sheet of dense fog during early mornings in the last few days. Though, it brings in a pleasant change in weather, the blinding effect of the fog is posing grave danger to the commuters.

Due to poor visibility, which has reportedly been reduced to a few metres, pedestrians and vehicle users have been facing difficulty in navigating through the main roads. This prompted the authorities to abundantly caution the travellers with regard to their journey in the treacherous foggy conditions.

According to reports, the dense fog stays up until the afternoon sometimes and it is certainly slowing down vehicular traffic on roads, causing inconvenience to the locals. Traffic jams due to poor visibility has become a frequent sight here.

Weather experts are advising people travelling on two-wheelers and pedestrians to take proper precautions to stay safe during the thick, foggy conditions.
