Minister for Roads and Buildings Vemula Prashanth Reddy on Sunday inspected the progress of works on the Martyrs’ memorial

HYDERABAD: Minister for Roads and Buildings Vemula Prashanth Reddy on Sunday inspected the progress of works on the Martyrs’ memorial and also the arrangements being made for the foundation laying of the new building in NIMS.

The minister, along with Special Chief Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development Arvind Kumar, went round the building and inspected all aspects of the structure, which is being spruced up for inauguration. He made suggestions on beautification of roads and surrounds of the Martyrs’ memorial.

He went to Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences and inspected the arrangements for the construction of a new building. The Government will be building a Rs.1,000-cr facility at NIMS.

The minister was accompanied by Engineer-in-Chief Ganapathi Reddy and other officials.
