Shark fish floats ashore in Kakinada

KAKINADA: It's no jokes. Remember Steven Spielberg's Jaws, a 1975 film? And the series of sequels by many other directors ? It's an American horror movie drawn from the novel. What if the shark with it's closed Jaws comes afloat to the shore right in front of our eyes. It happened at Kakinada shore of the Bay of Bengal.

Amid torrential rains across the state filling the projects and rivers, canals and bunds are overflowing. The rains have also increased the waves in the beaches, what with the low pressure areas in the sea.

Meanwhile, a lBukka Sora" Fish (Shark) has come afloat to shore on the NTR beach at Suryaraopet in Kakinada. The fish weighs a ton and about is about 20-foot long.

On the other hand, the fishermen caught a very rare Kachidi Fish at Antarvedi in Pallipalem mini fishing harbor of Konaseema, which weighed 23 kg on Sunday. This fish was bought by traders at a price of Rs.2 lakh. Fishermen said that there is a huge demand for this fish in the market. That's why they bought it at a high price.
