Two multi-storey buildings imploded in Raheja Mindspace in Madhapur, Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Two multi-storey buildings were imploded using the latest technology in Raheja Mindspace, Madhapur in Hyderabad on Saturday.

The huge structures were smashed and reduced to a rubble in just five seconds. A 26-second video of building Nos. 7 and 8 imploding went viral on social media platforms.

Edifice and Jet Demolition carried out controlled demolitions of G+4 buildings by taking all precautions to protect other multi-storied structures in the IT Park from any damage. The two buildings were recently constructed in an advanced manner.

However, the developer has decided to demolish the structures due to some technical issues. The developer plans to construct new structures in leasable area of 1.6 million square feet (msf) which are likely to be completed in Quarter 3 FY 2027.
