Youth dies after slipping into Sabitham waterfall in Peddapalli

HYDERABAD: A youth drowned to death after he slipped and fell into the Sabitham waterfalls in Peddapalli district on Wednesday. Manupati Venkatesh from Kisan Nagar in Karimnagar went to the waterfalls with his friends as part of a tour. While all of them are enjoying their tour, Venkatesh accidentally fell into the water and died. However, the reasons for the death are yet to be known.
While the police claimed that the tourists have not heeded their instructions despite repeatedly advising tourists to not visit the waterfalls due to the high water flow during rains, the tourists who were at Sabitham waterfall alleged that the lack of warning signs at the waterfalls led to the accident.
The police have registered the case and investigating it further.
