VIJAYAWADA: Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader Yadlapati Raghunadha Babu on Sunday denied the false allegations being spread about the Land Titling Act and clarified that the Act was brought with the sole aim of solving the land disputes with digitisation of records.

Stating that some parties were spreading false news saying that the people's land would be grabbed with the Land Titling Act, Raghunadha Babu noted that those who were not aware of the Act could seek knowledge from them and emphasised that it was not right for parties, which were in alliance with the BJP, to spread such false claims.

He said that the Act was implemented in other states as well and asserted that the Election Commission had already directed the CID investigation on spreading misinformation.

Further, responding to the NDA alliance manifesto, Raghunadha Babu stated that the BJP had nothing to do with it and opined that it would take lakhs of crores to implement Chandrababu Naidu's Super Six schemes.

He also pointed out that the blame would come to the BJP and the credibility of Modi would be lost if the manifesto were not implemented, hence clarifying that the BJP had no stakes in the TDP-Jana Sena manifesto.
