Students' team highlights education reforms in Andhra Pradesh at Columbia University of US

AMARAVATI: On day two of their visit to the United States of America (USA), a 10- member student team from Andhra Pradesh participated in the ‘Educate A Child’ seminar at Columbia University, New York.

The students' team held discussions with students from various countries like Canada, Uganda, Kenya, amongst others, on varied topics like sustainable development goals, how to be an environmental ambassador, and how to elevate the standard of education the world over.

As part of the group discussions, the students highlighted steps taken by the State Government under the leadership of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to transform the education sector back home like improving school infrastructure, providing a balanced and nutritious diet for all students, improved internet connectivity, usage of BYJU's tablets, and the introduction of bilingual textbooks.
