CHITTOOR: In a distressing incident, a son brutally attacked his parents in Madanapalle over an alleged land dispute.
The victims, identified as Venkataramana Reddy and Lakshmamma, residents of Nirugattuvaripalle Ayodhyanagar, were attacked by their son, Srinivasulu Reddy, reportedly over a dispute related to land distribution.
The son attacked his mother and beaten her throwing her onto the ground.
The barbaric act was condemned by people around who drew the attention of the police.
Upon learning the incident, the II Town Inspector Yuvaraju arrived at the incident scene and shifted the victims to Madanapalle Hospital.
The CI, who inquired about the cause of the attack, launched an investigation into the matter to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack.
A case wa registered.
