MADANAPALLE: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday showed his generosity during his visit to Madanapalle in Annamayya district.

Hameeda, the mother of Mohammad Ali, who is suffering from a chronic ailment, came to the venue of Chief Minister's public meeting along with her ill son. YS Jagan disbursed the funds towards 'Jagananna Vidya Deevana' scheme on this occasion. When the Chief Minister was leaving the place after the meeting, she narrated her son's condition and urged YS Jagan for help in getting the necessary treatment for her son.

Responding to her plea, the Chief Minister asked the District Collector Gireesha to provide necessary medical support to Ali. As per his instructions, a cheque of Rs one lakh and a monthly pension of Rs 3,000 was provided for the boy's treatment.

The Collector also advised the health department officials to ensure better treatment to the boy at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati. The mother of the child, Hameeda, thanked the Chief Minister and Collector for their noble gesture.
