Cupid strikes: Elderly couple marries at 80 in Tanda Village, Mahabubabad in Telangana

MAHABUBABAD: In a rare event, an elderly couple tied the knot at the age of 80 in Tanda village of Nellikudur mandal, Mahabubabad.

The bride, Gugulothu Lalamma (75), and Samida Naik (80), entered matrimony in a love-filled union 70 years ago. Over the years, the couple has been blessed with four sons and one daughter.

Their grandchildren eagerly wished to witness their grandparents' wedding, and the ceremony took place on the auspicious occasion of their youngest grandson Yakub's birthday. The entire community of Tanda came together to celebrate the marriage of this venerable couple.
