Balakrishna’s chopper makes emergency landing due to technical snag

ONGOLE: Tollywood actor and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna who was travelling in a helicopter made an emergency landing in Ongole due to a technical snag. The actor who had attended his movie Veera Simha Reddy’s pre-release event in Ongole on Friday was flying back to Hyderabad on Saturday morning.

According to reports, the pilot of the helicopter made an emergency landing in Ongole PTC grounds a few minutes after take-off owing to a technical fault observed in the helicopter. Technicians were also informed and an Air Traffic Control (ATC) clearance is awaited.

The police on receiving the information rushed to the spot. Reportedly in case of the continued trouble in the helicopter the actor is expected to reach Hyderabad by road.
