KAKINADA: Kapu patriarch and former minister Chegondi Hari Rama Jogiah in his second open letter to Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan has asked him to seek a share in the Chief Minister post if the TDP-JSP combine wins the elections in Andhra Pradesh.

Giving details of the recent meeting with the actor-turned-politician, Jogaiah said that he asked him to demand Chief Minister post for half of the tenure of five years. “I asked Pawan Kalyan to demand not less than 45-60 seats and advised him to contest from either Narsapuram or Bhimavaram or Tadepalligudem constituencies.

He further advised Pawan Kalyan to rope in the BJP along with the TDP in the ensuing elections. “I urged him to prepare the combined manifesto to match the aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh,” he mentioned in the letter. Adding that Pawan Kalyan reacted positively to all his suggestions, Jogaiah said that he cautioned Pawan Kalyan not to compromise in seat sharing or power-sharing with the TDP. Expressing the wishes of the Kapu community in the State, Jogaiah said that he just reflected the feelings of the community through his letter.

In his earlier letter written in December, alleged that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan dashed the hopes of Kapus and mortgaged the pride of Kapus to Nara Chandrababu Naidu
