Railway police rescue girl stuck between train, track in Visakhapatnam

VISAKHAPATNAM: Railway police at the Duvvada railway station rescued a girl passenger who slipped and got stuck between a train and the railway track on Wednesday.

In the horrific incident, the girl student slipped and her waist got stuck between the train and the platform, making it difficult for her to be pulled up. Reportedly, she was getting off the Guntur-Rayagada passenger train while travelling to reach her school when the accident happened.

Railway police personnel halted the train and broke the PF coping around her. She was retrieved without major injuries and was shifted to a hospital.
