Sharmila meets Undavalli Arun Kumar in Rajamahendravaram, latter compares her to YSR

RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM: APCC president YS Sharmila met former MP and senior Congress leader Undavalli Arun Kumar here on Thursday during her Lok Sabha Constituency tour.

YS Sharmila sought the blessings of the senior leader at his residence and exchanged pleasantries. She explained to him the agenda she set for herself to bring back the last glory to the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh.

Later speaking to media the former MP said that he was very to find Sharmila as charming and as caring as her father YS Rajasekhra Reddy.

“We cannot segregate family and politics. It happened even in Indira Gandhi’s family. Her younger daughter-in-law came out of the family fold. Even Purandheswari joined Congress that her father vehemently opposed,” he said when a journalist asked him about the differences cropped in between YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and YS Sharmila.
