TTD launches revamped website with latest updates on 60 temples

TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chairman Bhumana Karunakara Reddy launched a revamped website TTD to give extensive publicity to TTD-managed temples in Tirupati and other locations across the country. The program was held at the Mahati Auditorium on Monday.

The revamped website will provide updates on local temple history, arjita sevas, darshan hours, transport, and other infrastructure available at over 60 TTD-managed temples and information centres across the country.

The portal contained photos, videos, and other geographical details with technical support from Jio and the configurations made by the TTD IT department.

TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy, JEOs Sada Bhargavi, Veerabrahmam, chief vigilance officer Narasimha Kishore, IT manager LM Sandeep and others were present.

The second phase of house site pattas to staff

The TTD on Monday distributed the second phase of land pattas to TTD staff at the Mahati Auditorium. Speaking on the occasion Bhumana Karunakara Reddy said that TTD handed over land to the staff at the lowest possible price. He pointed out that nowhere in the world staff were given free land. In all 1,703 TTD staff members received the pattas.

He said that 17 years ago he initiated the idea of distributing land to TTD staff with the then Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. “In 2009 YSR announced that on this very stage that I have come up with this idea,” the TTD chairman said,

Dharma Reddy said that 450 acres of land at Erpedu had been procured for the third phase of distribution. He said that the land at Erpedu belonged to the Government void of any legal litigations. He said that retired employees would also receive land pattas in the third phase.
