TTD announced that all the online tickets for 'Srivari Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam' were booked within 32 minutes of its release

TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) on Saturday announced that all the online tickets for 'Srivari Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam' were booked within 32 minutes of its release. The Vaikunta gates of the Tirumala temple would be opened from January 2 to 11 next year.

TTD issued online tickets for the special darshan for devotees who wished to participate in the celebrations on Saturday. The tickets were released online at 9 am and all the tickets were booked within a half-hour of their release. 'Vaikunta Ekadasi' will be celebrated on January 2 followed by 'Vaikunta Dwadashi' on January 3.

Apart from the online tickets, offline tokens would be allotted on January 1 for Sarva Darshan. TTD had announced that around five lakh tokens would be issued pricing at 50 thousand per day through nine centers in Tirupati.

TTD also said that break darshans at the temple would be cancelled on December 27, 2020, owing to the 'Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam' conducted in the temple. The ceremony would be conducted in the temple on December 27 from 6 am to 12 pm. Letters of recommendations would not be accepted on December 26 and devotees were requested to cooperate, said TTD.
