YS Jagan asks Collectors to be vigilant: Cyclone Mandous

He asked that the department's staff to assist the farmers and raise awareness of the necessary safety precautions

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday asked collectors in various districts on Thursday to be vigilant in view of Cyclone Mandous in the Bay of Bengal.

The Chief Minister reviewed the situation of the Cyclone Mandous during a meeting here on Thursday. He said that authorities should take appropriate precautions while monitoring the storm's impact on a regular basis.

Chief Minister YS Jagan was informed by the officials that rain is expected in Nellore, Tirupati, Chittoor, and other districts as a result of the storm's effects. He asked that the department's staff to assist the farmers and raise awareness of the necessary safety precautions.
