YS Jagan takes part in AP Formation Day celebrations in Tadepalli

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S JaganMohan Reddy on Tuesday unfurled the national flag at the Chief Minister's Camp Office in Tadepalli on the occasion of AP state formation day and later received a police salutation. The Chief Minister later paid tribute to the statue of Potti Sriramulu.

Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Deputy Chairperson Zakia Khanam, Home Minister Taneti Vanitha, Tourism Minister RK Roja, Medical and Health Minister Vidadala Rajani, Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh, Chief Secretary Dr Sameer Sharma, DGP Rajendranath Reddy, AP Women Commission Chairperson Vasireddy Padma were participated in the programme.

Telugu and Sanskrit Academy Chairperson N Lakshmi Parvathi, Government Advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Rajya Sabha Members V Vijayasai Reddy, other high officials and public representatives were also present.

Later, YS Jagan also took part in a ceremony and gave away the YSR Awards to distinguished recipients from various walks of life. Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan graced the occasion. YS Vijayamma, YS Rajasekhara Reddy's wife and former honorary president of YSRCP, was also present on the occasion.
