PULIVENDULA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Sunday took part in Christmas prayers and celebrations along with family and relatives at the CSI Church in Pulivendula of Kadapa district.

The Chief Minister, who, earlier in the day, tweeted extending his Christmas greetings to the people of the state, took off from Idupulapaya Estate by a helicopter and reached Bakarapuram helipad in Pulivendula. Later, at 9 am, he attended the Christmas prayer service and the pastor's message on the festive occasion at the CSI Church.

YS Jagan, then, joined his family and priests in cutting the cake. He unveiled a New Year calendar brought out by the church association coinciding with the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, YS Jagan conveyed his greetings to everyone and expressed his joy at being part of the celebrations along with family, relatives and well-wishers.

He expressed the hope that the state government which was forging ahead with the motive of all-round development and welfare would always have the blessings of the God.

After interacting with relatives and a few Pulivendula locals, the Chief Minister left for Kadapa Airport at 10:50 am.
