TADEPALLI: Modeled on the successful format of the four ‘Siddham’ cadre meetings, the YSRCP chief and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will embark on ‘Memu anta siddham bus yatra’ from March 27 from Proddatur., where he will address a massive public meeting.

Disclosing details of the bus yatra, the party general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said here on Tuesday that the tour was aimed at preparing the cadre and also the followers to face Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the State. Every day there would be interaction with the people, followed by Siddham-scale public meetings in the evening.

“The bus yatra will start from Proddutur on March 7, and reach Idupulapaya. After offering floral tributes at YSR ghat, he will continue his yatra up to north Andhra. The Chief Minister during interaction will seek advice and suggestions from the people,” he said. He added that the yatra would be like an extension to the successful padayatra of YS Jagan that helped defeat the TDP.

The YSRCP leader said that the four Siddham meetings reflected the extent of affection that the people of the State had towards YS Jagan as he kept his word and fulfilled 99 percent of the promises made in the manifesto.

“Now as the election schedule was announced, he will embark on the bus yatra as a next step. The yatra, which will begin on March 27, might go up to April 18. All the constituencies which were not covered under the four Siddham public meetings will be covered under the bus yatra,” Sajjala said.
