TIRUMALA: Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries on Friday donated Rs 1.5 crores to the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD). The business tycoon paid a visit to the heavenly abode of Lord Sri Venkateswara here and had the darshan of the presiding deity.

On this occasion, he handed over a Demand Draft (DD) for Rs 1.5 crores to TTD Executive Officer A V Dharma Reddy at the Ranganayakula Mandapam inside the temple complex.

After offering prayers at the hill shrine, the Reliance head also paid a visit to Sri Venkateswara Goshala in Tirumala.

YSRCP MPs Gurumurthy and Vijaysai Reddy, Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and the TTD officials were also present.



Tirumanjanam day darshan tickets in advance

Meanwhile, the TTD will be releasing the online quota of Rs-300 special entry darshan tickets, meant for September 20, on September 17 itself at 9 am. The Devasthanams are releasing these tickets in advance on Saturday In view of Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam on September 20. Devotees were requested to take note of this change and book their tickets accordingly.

The devotees are requested to make note of this and book the tickets.
