Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to reunite with Ajith after 20 years

HYDERABAD: Kollywood actor Ajith Kumar recently released his new film Thunivu, performing well at the box office during the Pongal holiday weekend. He is now preparing to start his next project with director Vignesh Shivan, tentatively titled AK 62.
According to recent reports, AK 62 will feature two female leads, one of which will be played by Trisha. It is also rumored that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will play the other lead role in the film.
Aishwarya and Ajith have previously worked together in the 2000 film Kandukondain Kandukondain and will reunite after 23 years. Additionally, Trisha and Aishwarya previously worked together in the blockbuster Ponniyin Selvan and will be teaming up again for this movie.
Comedian Santhanam will be making his comeback in this film. Senior actor Aravind Swamy will play the antagonist, and Arjun Das, known for his roles in Kaithi and Vikram, will have a key role. The music for the film will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and Lyca Productions will produce it.
A formal announcement of the same is expected to be out soon.
