Baahubali producer backs RRR in the Oscar race

SS Rajamouli's latest directorial RRR has become a sensation in the USA. American audiences are loving the film. Many Hollywood film critics, actors, directors and screenwriters have become fans of RRR. Recently, the popular film-based website Indiewire published an article about the probable films that can make it to the Best International Picture category in the Oscars 2023.

Even RRR was mentioned in the article. It was stated that RRR has a fair chance of getting nominated in the Best International Picture Category and craft categories like Best Original Score, Best Visual Effects and Best Editing.

Shobu Yarlagadda, one of the producers of Baahubali, tweeted an excerpt from this article. "And if Danny Boyle's "Slumdog Millionaire" could score eight Oscars, including Best Picture, Director, and Score for composer A.R. Rahman, launching the careers of Dev Patel and Freida Pinto, why can't "RRR" take a run at some major categories and craft awards as well?" he tweeted.

After these predictions, let's see if RRR can make it to the Oscar nominations and make India proud once again.
