HYDERABAD: Brahmastra is one of the biggest Indian films that has hit the screens in 2022. This fantasy action drama, directed by Ayan Mukherjee, featured Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Though it didn't become the biggest grosser, Brahmastra managed to grab enough attention among Indian audiences.
It has now become the most searched Indian film on Google. The search engine giant released the 'Year in Search 2022' recently. Among Indian films, Brahmastra became the most searched movie. KGF Chapter: 2 secured the second position on the list. Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's controversial political drama The Kashmir Files grabbed third place. SS Rajamouli's RRR and Rishab Shetty's Kantara secured fourth and fifth positions respectively.
Allu Arjun's Pushpa was in the sixth position. Kamal Haasan's Vikram secured the seventh place on the list. Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha and Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 2 are in the eighth and ninth positions respectively. Thor: Love and Thunder is in the tenth position. This is the only Hollywood film on the list. Of these ten films, five are South Indian, four are from Bollywood and one is from Hollywood.
