HYDERABAD: Director duo Raj and DK are the masters in the Indian OTT arena. They proved it with their super hit web series The Family Man. Now, they are coming back with a new series, Farzi. Starring Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles, the trailer of this series is out now.
The trailer introduces us to Shahid, who plays the role of an artistic genius who can replicate anything. He doesn't want to earn money so he decided to make it. He starts a fake notes business. To catch him, cop Vijay Sethupathi gets appointed. The cat-and-mouse chase between them and the characters in their world is the crux of this story.
Raj and DK have a quirky style of filmmaking. They have subtle dark humour in whatever they make. The same can be seen in Farzi as well. Shahid and Vijay Sethupathi look apt in their roles. The visuals are stunning and so is the background score.
On the whole, Farzi's trailer makes a mark and creates intrigue among audiences. It is slated for its premiere on February 10.
