Friday Films: 10 Releases; Zero Buzz

HYDERABAD : In the recent past, Telugu cinema didn't see massive success barring Kantara. During the Diwali season, four films were released but none of them managed to become super hits. Tomorrow, there are 10 releases lined up but not a single one of them holds a good buzz among the audience.
Among these releases, the notable ones are Allu Sirish's Urvashivo Rakshasivo, Santhosh Shobhan's Like Share and Subscribe and Nandu's Bomma Blockbuster. None of these actors is in a good form and their respective last films were box office flops. Neither trailers of these films managed to impress the audience. So, the buzz is quite low.
Apart from these three, there are other small films like Thaggede Le, Sarathi, Jetty, Chintamani Sontha Mogudu, Akasam and Banaras are also gearing up for release. On the flip side, Akkineni Nageshwara Rao's 40-year-old film Prathi Bimbalu is getting released on November 5.
The promotions of all these films are very poor. Even the trailers and songs didn't become viral. Neither do they have star value. Thus, the advance bookings are drastically low. The fate of these films will entirely depend on the word of mouth. Let's see if any of these films manage to impress the audience.
