Hiranyakasyapa is with Gunasekhar only!

It is already known that Gunasekhar teamed up with actress Samantha for the period drama Shaakuntalam. This film got done with its shoot a few months ago and the post-production works are going on right now. Meanwhile, there are reports that Trivikram has taken over Hiranyakasyapa from Gunasekhar. But, the director has given a clarity on the same.

Gunasekhar hinted that the film will be presented with some exciting collaborations on a massive scale.

As it will have heavy VFX, the post-production works are taking time. Meanwhile, Gunasekhar announced that Shaakuntalam is getting its final touches and the promotions will begin soon.

In his recent social media post, Gunasekhar wrote, "As promised, before manifesting the spectacle of Narasimha Avatar on the silver screen in 'Hiranyakashyapa' which would be presented with some exciting collaborations on a massive scale, I set out to present you a whimsical tale of love, Shaakuntalam, from the Adi Parva of Mahabharata."

"Now as it gets its final touches, looking forward to meet you at the promotions soon," he further added. Shaakuntalam is expected to hit the screens early next year.

Dev Mohan, Aditi Balan and Mohan Babu are playing other important roles in Shaakuntalam. Mani Sharma composed the music for this film.
