HYDERABAD: Ever since Adipurush's teaser was released, it became troll material on the internet. People are trolling the film for its cartoonish visuals and poor VFX work. Everyone expected Adipurush to be a big live-action film, but in the end, it turned out to be meme material.
Meanwhile, actor Manchu Vishnu let out his reaction to the teaser. Speaking in an interview with DNA, Vishnu said that he felt cheated after watching Adipurush's teaser. He stated that everyone thought it to be a live-action movie when they heard that they are making a film on Ramayana.
"I'm not giving a heads-up that it was an animated film is the main reason for big trolling. You got to prepare the audience. If you don't prepare and cheat the audience, then this is the reaction you will get. I felt cheated," stated Manchu Vishnu.
He also stated that there are big expectations around Adipurush due to the high successes of Prabhas's Baahubali and Om Raut's Tanhaji. Meanwhile, Vishnu is currently gearing up for the release of his new film Ginna, which will hit the screens on October 21.
