HYDERABAD: After Akhanda, Nandamuri Balakrishna is aiming to score another success with his upcoming film Veera Simha Reddy. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, this film is currently in the final stages of its shoot. Meanwhile, the makers have released the first song of the film this morning.
Titled Jai Balayya, this is an energetic track composed by music director SS Thaman. Even in Akhanda, Thaman composed a song called Jai Balayya. It was a romantic track. But in Veera Simha Reddy, it is about the protagonist. The villagers sing the song to praise their saviour.
The catchphrase is an instant ear worm and makes audiences hum the tune right away. The beats are full of energy. Karrimullah's vocals are refreshing. Ramajogayya Sastry's lyrics are powerful and meaningful. On the whole, Jai Balayya is a full-meal treat to Balayya's fans.
