HYDERABAD: Kannada actor-director Rishab Shetty became a national sensation with his recent blockbuster Kantara. His spectacular writing and spell-bounding performance made Kantara a raging success at the box office.
Various celebrities across various film industries congratulated Rishab for this huge success. He also got appreciation from his favourite actor Jr NTR.
In multiple interviews, Rishab said that NTR is his favourite actor. In a recent interview, he said that he got a call from NTR after the latter watched the film. Rishab said that NTR called and appreciated him a lot. "I really want to thank him," he said.
When asked whether he has any plans of collaborating with NTR, Rishab said that he hasn't thought about it. He stated that he thinks about the casting only after finalizing the story and the concept. He said that he can't develop a script by keeping an actor in mind.
Currently, Rishab is enjoying the success of Kantara. Apart from acting, he also wrote and directed the project. Hombale Films bankrolled the movie.
