HYDERABAD: Kantara is one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema this year. It was released with no expectations and featured no big stars. Still, it went on to become a pan-India success. It proves that the present generation audiences are only looking for good content and not the star cast or the language.
Until now, Kantara collected more than Rs. 300 crores in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. After more than 45 days of its Kannada version's release, this mystic thriller is all set for its OTT premiere. According to the latest reports, Kantara will be premiered on Amazon Prime Video on November 24.
It is heard that the film will be available in all five languages. People who missed watching it in theatres can now watch it on Prime Video. Audiences who loved it can re-watch it at their home once again when it is out on OTT.
Kantara features Rishab Shetty and Sapthami Gowda in the lead roles. Achyut Kumar and Kishore played key roles in it. The film was written and directed by Rishab Shetty. Hombale Films bankrolled the project.
