HYDERABAD: Sukumar's highly anticipated film, "Pushpa: The Rule," featuring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and others reprising their roles, recently commenced a new schedule at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The shooting involved capturing crucial scenes, particularly those related to Allu Arjun's jatara get-up, as seen in the first look of the film.

However, the team has confirmed to that the shooting has been postponed until the second week of December. The reason behind the delay is Allu Arjun experienced severe back pain while filming scenes involving the jatara get-up, including a song and a fight sequence.

Despite Arjun's willingness to continue shooting, director Sukumar prioritized the actor's health and opted for a break.

Sukumar's previous installment, "Pushpa: The Rise," released in December 2021, garnered positive responses, leaving fans eager for the sequel. The film depicted Allu Arjun's character, Pushpa, evolving from a daily wage worker to a red Sanders smuggler aspiring to establish his empire. Rashmika Mandanna played Srivalli, the love interest of Pushpa, and Fahadh Faasil portrayed Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, the police officer with whom Pushpa clashes.

The sequel, "Pushpa: The Rule," is scheduled to hit screens on August 15, 2024.
