SSMB28 to bank on 'Pokiri' Sentiment

Superstar Mahesh Babu is yet to begin the shoot of his next film. Helmed by Trivikram Srinivas, the untitled film will mark the reunion of the actor and director after almost 12 years. The makers will begin the shoot shortly, and they have officially locked the film's release date.

The team has confirmed that SSMB28 will hit the screens on April 28th, 2023. It is the same day on which Pokiri was released in 2006. The team wants to recreate the magic that Pokiri created at the box office.

Since it is a long weekend, it will be a big advantage for the makers of SSMB28 to cash the craze of fans and collect massive revenues at the box office.

Billed to be an actioner with family drama, the film will feature Pooja Hegde as the female lead. The team is yet to finalize the secondary female lead of the project.
