HYDERABAD: For many years, it is being assumed that Jr NTR shares a bitter-sweet relationship with his uncle and TDP chief Nara Chandra Babu Naidu. Though NTR campaigned for TDP in the 2009 elections, he was not seen in any other party activities later on.
He didn't even make any public appearances with Chandra Babu Naidu. Thus, it was assumed that things are not well between them. But a Twitter interaction between them is now making Nandamuri fans and especially TDP fans happy.
Yesterday, RRR's song Naatu Naatu won the Best Original Song Award at the prestigious Golden Globes. NTR is one of the lead actors in the movie. Appreciating the team on this success, Chandra Babu tweeted, "Delighted to learn that @RRRMovie has won the #GoldenGlobes Award for Best Original Song! Congratulations to @mmkeeravaani, @ssrajamouli and the entire team! Absolutely proud! Like I said earlier, Telugu has now become the language of Indian soft power.#NaatuNaatu #RRRMovie."
Commenting on the tweet, NTR wrote, "Thank you so much mavayya." This affectionate comment by NTR went viral all over social media. It also made fans feel that there are no disturbances between Tarak and Babu and that everything is fine between them. As it is clear that the relationship is smooth, we have to see if Tarak campaigns for TDP in the upcoming elections.
