HYDERABAD: Dhanush is one of the most popular actors in the country. With his versatile film choices, he garnered a pan-India fanbase. Recently, he also made his Hollywood debut with the Hollywood biggie The Gray Man. Now, this Tamil actor secured the top position in the popular movie website IMDb's 'Top 10 Most Popular Indian Stars of 2022.'
While Dhanush is in the first position, star heroine Alia Bhatt grabbed the second spot. Senior heroine Aishwarya Rai Bachchan secured the third position on the list. Mega Power Star Ram Charan is in the fourth position. Star heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu is in fifth place.
Bollywood's Hunk Hrithik Roshan grabbed the sixth position on the list. Happening Hindi heroine Kiara Advani is in seventh place. Young Tiger NTR Jr and Icon Star Allu Arjun are in eighth and ninth positions respectively. KGF fame Yash grabbed the tenth position on this elite list. Of these 10 popular actors, six are from South India and only four are from Bollywood. This proves the domination of South Indian films and actors in Indian cinema in the recent past.
