HYDERABAD: We are almost a month away from the release of Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu. The makers kickstarted the promotions by releasing the first song Ranjithame a few weeks ago. It became a viral hit hours after its release. Even now, Ranjithame is topping the charts on various musical platforms.
Now, the team released the second single from the movie. Titled Thee Thalapathy, this track has been sung by actor Silambarasan aka Simbu. This is the first time Simbu crooned his voice for Vijay. Huge expectations were built around this song when it was announced that Simbu sang it.
The song lived up to the hype and becomes and instant earworm right away. Thaman's beats engage you instantly. Like Ranjithame, Thee Thalapathy may also become a chartbuster in no time. Already, it is trending on all social media platforms.
Varisu features Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. Vamshi Paidipally is directing the project. Dil Raju is producing it under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. The Telugu version has been titled Vaarasudu. Both versions will hit the screens worldwide on January 12, 2023, during the Pongal festive season.
