HYDERABAD: Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Gopichand Malineni teamed up for the action entertainer Veera Simha Reddy. Both of them are coming after delivering super hit films Akhanda and Krack. Thus, there are high expectations on their collaboration. The pre-release event of Veera Simha Reddy was held last night in Ongole.
Speaking at the event, Balakrishna said that when two Kracks come together, a film like Veera Simha Reddy will happen. He expressed confidence about its success and stated that Veera Simha Reddy will remain in history for sure. On the occasion, he also reminisced about his father NT Rama Rao and called him the greatest actor in India.
On the flip side, Gopichand Malineni stated that working with Balayya has been the biggest achievement of his life. He said that Veera Simha Reddy will have all elements that fans expect from a Balakrishna film. He said that Duniya Vijay and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, who played antagonists in the movie, will create an impact with their performances.
Veera Simha Reddy features Shruti Haasan as the female lead. Honey Rose played a key role in the movie. It is slated for a grand release on January 12.
